>TARGET THE PLANET OF WIDOWS AND ORPHANS
>>154191093But I’m le tired.
>>154191093I have never been more turned on by a man.
>>154191137well have a napTHEN TARGET THE PLANET OF WIDOWS AND ORPHANS!!!
But what about the HYPER DEATH RAY?
>>154191425Um, my lord, there was only enough in the budget for a mid death ray...
>>154191093kill ze tiny hats
>>154191137>>154191278Made me chuckle.
>>154191234Zone where is the dominator short?
>>154191093>>154191278The death ray is targeted on the planet’s current position!WHERE’S THE PLANET, ZURG?
>>154191234>Wander has a villain's ranking board in universe>Perfect place to pay homage to Evil Emperor Zerg by just slipping his name into the top 10>Don't do itVery disappointing, But then I guess that would also open up the matter of where Star Command is with Lord Hater's antics. If it had been the early 2000s they would have had a full crossover with Buzz Lightyear. I hope someone asks Craig what he would have done with a chance to include the Star Command franchise as a one off in Wander next time he does an open panel at a con.
>>154191093Sounds like an episode of Galaxy Express 999
>>154196899...shit.
>>154197920Disney would've probably veto'd it by command of Pixar who are still seething about Star Command.
I distinctly remember this show having some kind of owl villain. Like an owl-like alien villain or something. This was a distinct childhood memory but apparently it was never real.
>>154198950You're thinking of SkreelHe's an owl, not a vulture, so that's why you couldn't find anything on him
>>154199011Holy shit thank you!!! That's definitely him I thought my brain falsified a memory of a character that didn't exist but it was real the entire time
I can't believe how good this series was. Getting to the the episodes animated by the japanese studio was a major treat when I was binge watching it a few years ago- it's kind of baffling Pixar/Disney never did more with it, you'd think they'd at least merch up the characters down the line
>>154191093>Innocent politicians? Don't be oxymoronic!
>>154199863I like how they did a JoJo Reference before it was cool
>>154191278
>>154202439
>>154202450>bzzzzzzt
>>154202458Eugh?
>>154191093>>154191234These two would be a pretty good ship, desu.
>>154196899>PLANET ZURG THE, WHERE'S?!?!
>>154199863Blame Lasseter. He had a weird vendetta against this show and I doubt they'd reference it now even considering that he's probably not coming back to Disney or Pixar.
Wayne Knight voiced Zurg right? Damn he really knocked it out of the park.Honestly Zurg is a pretty good template for a villain that's basically powerful enough to be largely untouchable, so he just has fun with it.
>>154202586The tie-in game is included in that upcoming Toy Story game collection. That's about as much recognition that the cartoon gets.
>>154202606I've said it before, but Zurg's a perfect example of how to make a villain hilarious while keeping them a genuine threat.
>>154191093I could never get into this because the intro explicitly stated this is a cartoon people in the Toy Story universe watch.I know that's the entire premise, but it really breaks my immersion when I'm reminded what I'm watching is not real.
>>154204803Fair.
>>154205618It's NOT fair, anon.I want to enjoy the show but I just can't suspend my disbelief to that level.
Bump
ZURG WARUDO
>>154204803>>154205856So...would it be "real" enough if it was a fictional show divorced from another show's setting?
>>154202185>>154208696
>>154209935Yes. All I need really is the 3D TS segment to be cut from the intro.
Great show, fuck knows why there's no good release of it.
>How long have you been working for me?>The ENTIRE time or just as a brain in a jar?>Hmmm. Brain in a jar.>Five years next Tuesday, sir!>Excellent!
Holy fuck I love blue women voiced by Nicole Sullivan
>>154204803Really, they need to turn on the Meta from the other direction as well; and have the film Toy Story exist in the Star Command Universe
>>154202741KEK, I love that the collection includes that terrible GB port of TS developed by Tiertex.
>>154211702>Holy fuck I love women voiced by Nicole Sullivanftfy
>>154203350>Melts the guns like in The Day The Earth Stood StillZurg definitely knows his classic sci-fi.
>>154212109That's a given
>>154191629HE DIDN'T LIKE IT
>"Oh, it is. ... Until the day she says you're... "interfering with her career". Oh sure, you picked out the curtains and china, but she doesn't care, she just needs her "alone time". ALONE TIME WITH HER ZERO GRAV TENNIS INSTRUCTOR FRANZ!! Next thing you know, she vaporizes your heart, flushes it out the airlock like so much space debris, and when it's all over, she hopes you'll still be friends! You know what "friend" means, Booster?! IT MEANS LOSER!!"What did Buzz mean by this?
>>154214622Buzz...had a hard life
>>154211151>Great show, fuck knows why there's no good release of it.There actually is a high quality HDTV rip without the Disney watermark. Unfortunately it's on MySpleen.
>>154211151>>154215163https://archive.org/details/blosc-nogrpHere.
>>154216020How to pin a post on 4chan.But for real though, thanks!
In-universe, Star Command was probably the Godzilla the Series to Lightyear's Godzilla 1999
>>154218137I've just given up on justifying Lightyear as canon as Buzz' point of origin as a character in universe.
>>154218176The clone villain was also extremely stupid.
>>154218176>>154218374I can imagine a hypothetical revival making fun of the twist>"You see, Buzz Lightyear, in truth, I am you from the future!">"What!?">"No way, I can't believe it! He actually fell for it! Please tell me someone got his reaction on camera!"
>>154219156Luckily Lightyear had at least one positive; Darby Steel. It's unfortunate that she didn't get much screentime.
>>154219156Zurg faked Buzz out with the "I am your father" line at least twice. This would definitely be his style.
>>154220085Plus the time he tricked Buzz into thinking he’d been flung into the future.
>>154219156
