Mainstream networks can release episodes weekly because production starts a minimum of 2 years ahead of anything being released and the teams are MUCH bigger+offshore animation studios are utilized so several episodes can be worked on simultaneously. By the time you see a single episode, the entire season is already finished with maybe a few odds and ends of the last few episodes finalizing post production stuff. Releasing episodes every 3 months is insanely good for an independent production. Yes, Glitch has more money and resources than most indies, but they still pale in comparison to productions on scale of Disney, Nickelodeon, or Cartoon Network when they were still actually making cartoons.
