That appears to be reminiscent of a "single" desk rather than some of the more robust models, so for sake of argument we'll presume it has a maximum weight near the lower end, 300. Now there are roughly 52 - 55 stones in this image. For the sake of being fair and rather than attempting to discern every stone I will use lava rocks as an example, as they vary in weight due to air pockets and may be either very dense or very light. Lava rocks are typically 15 to 20 pounds per cubic foot; a lava rock that fits into a palm (as those appear to) would be roughly 7–8 cm / 3 in, which implies a stone weighing 0.4–1.1 lb. There is simply no way that 55 stones weighing one pound each would threaten the integrity of that desk in any way, even with an adult woman (let's say 130 pounds) leaning on it.
