A decent morality tale with some pretty fluid animation. But the art style is just pure sanitized slop that looks like it was made to appeal to babies. The concept art for this was over a million times better. I wish the short kept this style since the character movements ARE pretty well-animated

KINO ALERT
the creator of Scaredy Cat posted several of these over on his instagram https://www.instagram.com/p/DZik1SOkhrQ/?img_index=1
It might imply that his show got greenlit and that justice prevails. I don't think the average artist would put that many publisher logos over their own drawings for no reason. Is this the first one to be publicly acknowledged?

I enjoyed this one, feels like an adult animated sitcom like Mission Hill or The Critic got sanded off for children but I mean this in a positive way and in the end really clicks with me. I'd totally love a dull series.

this is a good short but I don't see how this could be a series? realistically this concept only works for one episode right? I haven't finished watching the short yet but I assume he learns his lesson at the end

Heh. MC using the Benson voice as expected. Unfortunately though, gonna downrank this for posing as another "therapy-session" type of show with a hint of a Pinocchio trope, thus barring itself from embracing the paranormal concept. This type of premise smells of normie energy...

Mouthwash > Outrunners > Buttons > Duck > A for Angel > Pig in a Wig > Hungy > Samson > I Scream > Jocelyn > Madison > Accordion > Foools > Harmony > Bird & Squirrel > Maude > Mandie > Fruitstand > Afternoon > Dracula > Off the Menu

Nice to see an arcade game being referenced that isn't Pac-Man or Donkey Kong. Rampage was a great game!

He does yeah, it reminds me of a slice of life Pinocchio. Gotta say, I only thought this was okay. Admittedly there was fluid animation in some scenes.

The fact that you chose to put mouthwash as your favorite, and also duck that high, says a lot about you. There's literally no reason not to be able to combine themes of psychology with paranormal elements, Silent Hill 2 is still popular two decades later, and that was inspired by a psychological movie from 1990. You're just coping and trying to hide from your own vulnerability because you're too weak to face it, or to face your own issues. Now go ahead and prove what I just said right

I guess the brown girl would be the reoccurring character for him to bounce the humor off. Which is interesting, would they be friends or a romantic couple?

Indian girl was a massive qt

Son...
What the fuck are you smoking? Clearly, you're talking to an unprofessional critic here.
Don't tell me my input busted a nerve.
Yikes man lol.
>>
>>154221011
you're discounting the entire thing based on your own bias (this thing is like therapy, yo), while using a false dichotomy to validate it (psychological themes means less focus on paranormal even though that's not true and it wasn't even the point of the short). All of this while also putting mouthwash above a pedestal which shows criminally neglected girls beating and choking each other and being genuinely unlikable while presenting all of this as some quirky joke that isn't somehow sad and awful, and doesn't need to be solved instead of the author's own trauma dump that it is, so as to not have to face the truth. Again, it says a lot about you

Imagine still having a meltie over unprofessional input.
Again yikes.
