Does anyone care about the upcoming Marvel Magic The Gathering set? I got some of the Venom and Deadpool... I dont play I just collect those 2 characters. man these cards are overpriced. Another Hasbro (WotC) scam.

The only ones missing are the X-Men, magical characters, and cosmic characters who are clearly getting their own dedicated set later on.

This doesn't encourage me to pick up the game, this just makes me shake my head at the INSANE costs WotC can get away with. A box of player boosters is like 200 bucks, collectors is 400. And for what? A chance to get one of 150 printed stupid infinity stones they're sprinkling in each set that rolls out?

>>154223968They're doing multiple Marvel themed sets so they can print limited chase cards of The Infinity Gems. Spider-Man had the Soul Gem, this has The Mind Gem. But to milk the consumers and go along with the gimmick, that means churning out 6 separate sets. Moon Knight, Doctor Strange, and Blade have passing references in this set, but are likely being saved for a mystical/Midnight Suns themed set. Could also feature Mephisto, Nightmare, Dormammu, Shuma Gorath, etc. You know for a fact they're winding up for an X-Men set too
