Ok maybe JMS is exaggerating here but if he's supposed to be the predator, I'm fine if he has a special power to counter Pete.

Spidey is probably puffing himself up here in order to try in the hope of inspiring some fear. Since as we've seen Peter has gotten mad plenty of times and has also encountered other honorable villains like Kraven. So Peter already gets that Morlun is equivalent to an animal looking for prey and is doing this with less emotion and complete focus as he was told by Ezekiel earlier.

Now this is the type of action and use of a city that I like. Damn. Fighting so fast with so much chaos, his identity couldn't be found out. That's the 2000's, and no iphones yet for ya.

This just occurred to me, but when did we get to the era of covers no longer saying anything about what's inside?
>>

It was this run that put us into the pin up cover era

What if we shot Spider-Man into space?
>>

Damn I like this cover.
>>154225979
Yes. On one hand, it does kinda suck. On the other some of these are really cool and they stripped down in making the coolest Spider-poses and framing possible. But yes some are a bit boring or bad.

>>154226091
Eh JMS needed to show Peter's experience and also at how he needs to think of all of it to get that feeling welling up inside again.
>>
>>
>>
>>154226174
we're going to need a bigger pole

This is certainly more of a Versus Juggernaut thing than a Versus Firelord one.
>>
>>
>>154224804
What the hell? I need to see if I can find a trade of this run.
>>
>>154226161
In the 90's, they'd just connected it to something recent, devastating, and somewhat relevant. Granted, they had JMD then, and drawing connections for deep dives was one of his greatest strengths. But it's not like there haven't been other recent cases of prolonged, senseless cruelty by someone who refused to make sense and an obsession with Peter. Those would be much more appropriate.
>>
>>154226277
Hmm...ok. Perhaps JMS had his hand tied by someone or chose to remove as many references as possible to previous stories. Either is possible as Joey Q wanted to distance from Clone Saga and Mackie asap.
>>
>>
>>154225082
Now that's the ass we've come to know.

>>
>>154225487
I know Peter has tried other ways to make money with his powers but he really should've been able to figure out better ways.
>>
>>154226698
Yeah that's what this >>154226299 panel is for. They are currently somewhere and Peter's whereabouts are known only to the 3 people of this story who have a connection to the same thing.
>>154227369
I think that idea....is best left for a story after OMD is undone. That way, it helps progress Peter further along as if it is undone I assume we would have fill the gaps and perhaps since OMD is undone, that could mean that Strange's memory forget spell is undone so after getting that reapplied, then Peter could realize he could try selling the webfluid's adhesive component and make enough money to move somewhere with MJ and commute to NY or something like that. Or a nicer place to themselves still within NY. He could keep selling it but still run out of money due to now the problems associated with running a business. I dunno, just 1 idea.
>>
>>154226698
I'd say I'm surprised nobody else showed up but this is one of those stories where there'd be an explanation why nobody did or couldn't, even though Maximum Carnage had nearly every hero make an appearance (only to job and not be of much help).
>>
>>154227513
>try selling the webfluid's adhesive component
It was BS when he tried that but the scientists weren't interested because it only lasted for an hour despite its insane strength. It being temporary would make it perfect for jobs that need to hold something in place for an hour. And even then the fluid could be inspected and ways to improve it or some components could be applied to other projects.
>>
>>154227584
Not to mention it's made of components to fit *Peter's* budget
>>
>>154224654
