And like you said, they don't need or have human disguises and all the other shit. They're just monsters killing the pests, to allow a sapient species(humanity) to emerge.The Eternals are there to get rid of Deviants once they're done with pest control, and then they go about the Eternal primary directive of nurturing and guiding humanity. So that humanity breeds and spread across the planet until enough of them exist to feed the Celestial seed in the planet.Thats why the Eternals need to be human looking, with human personalities. They have to live among the humans, guiding them, and making sure they survive and propogate.Like, the movie was shit, but it did have a line of logic and sense to its choices. Well, to its lore, at least. The characters being retarded is another matter.
