>>154233382Amazing artist, but like many in the western world(and I mean it literally, not just America, but Europe and South America too), he never really got a great written story to illustrate. at best he got writers that understood he had a bunch of great visuals and worked with his ideas. Jodorowsky is especially guilty of just having a bunch of cool ideas but little interest in making a cohesive and engaging story and even less on actually working on making characters rounded and interesting.

I love Moebius but a lot of the time it seems like he could not come up with an ending to save his life. Edena is especially guilty of this, but maybe after putting off the story for years in between volumes he was just "lol whatever"When are we getting some damn reprints of the Airtight Garage??

Random Japanese soda commercials have Arzak shit in them. He basically created Cyberpunk. And he's probably the best wild west artist in comics.

It sucks and you hate it or it rules and you love it and there's no such thing as middle ground. It got worse as more people got online and fandoms became tribal.
