Based on what Conquest was saying in this issue, it sounds like his mission was to capture the Colossus and the Juggernaut to be used as weapons, so he's probably decided to instead capture Battle Beast. After he sees if he's worth capturing.

This fight being how he ended up in the Viltrumite prison would make sense but also leave this comic pretty short. (Is there a confirmed final issue count yet?) Invincible pretty much covered everything that happened to BB after that, already. Unless they start filling in stories from the timeskips.

Kirkman's said he plans to drag this one on for a while, my theory is that there'll be a bit of a timeskip to a point between the Viltrumite War and the fight against Thragg where we'll see what Thokk gets up to during that timelapse, aside from that, I have no clue how this comic's story would keep going after his death unless they turn it into a full on Invincible sequel centered around his daughter

I like that the gimmick of the I Hate Fairyland variant covers is that Gert hates team ups but honestly my only real problem with them is the use of a somewhat generic title cover, I wish it at least used “I hate” + title like “I Hate D’orc”, “I Hate Battle Beast”, etc…
