Mainline Bane requires a device to administer it, Absolute Banes's body has to be in balance with it so his body can gradually adjust and produce it. Is it fair to say that the art does a lot to sell Absolute, too? I'm enjoying the stories but after disliking and eventually jumping out of comics in the 2000s for losing so much color and chasing realism, these are so refreshing. I'm doing my best to catch up to some of the good stuff I missed, but it puts a smile on my face to look at Sherman or Dragotta art and think "This looks like a comic book!"
