Been wanting this guy to actually be a villain or just get killed from the moment he was announced. I can't believe they'd go from the previous mini with Vision to teasing a new love interest nobody asked for.

Whether this is Orlando's fault or editorial's fault, the person to blame needs to go.

Counterpoint; Scarlet Witch was done dirty by one awful writer in two awful events nobody even likes, but because they were 'important' she spent over 16 years being punished for it, and Marvel finally treating her like a capable, competent and sane veteran heroine is long overdue, despite it being such a low bar to reach. Orlando's writing of Wanda has gone overboard on how OP she is and the constant power feats, and it's like he's in a competition with the recently-ended Storm and Phoenix books over who's the most insanely OP Marvel heroine, but I'll take that over "suddenly Wanda went crazy for no reason" any day.

Like Moon Knight by McKay, it's just one series that keeps relaunching at least once per year so Marvel can keep chasing that #1 money, to diminishing returns.

Also like Mackay, Orlando has made some friends in Marvel editorial by being completely ready to drop whatever they're doing to play ball with the bi-annual shitty event

That means they get a pet book and they keep relaunching to get around cancellation numbers

You could see the point where Mackay had to give up Strange to keep Moon Knight like it was Sophie's Choice
