Lemire mentioned a 4 part Spectre story and then a two parter after that and so far hasn't mentioned anything after and DC didn't advertise it in an advert last month with the Next Level rest of the books. Seems like it's cancelled at #24.
It's a shame because Year One was alright just bland and the two issues of the Spectre story is also alright just an overdone plot. He really shouldn't have made the first 12 issues be the team fighting, or at least not made the conflicts so stupid. Should've just had a Jade faction and Obsidian faction dealing with different shit the ISA is doing.

Gotham was supposed to be Gotham Central but it flopped so fucking hard in season one, that they had to tell Rucka to eat shit and die and turn the show I to a modern remake of Batman '66 because NO ONE NO ONE wanted a Gotham Central TV show, the same way no one gave a fuck about Gotham Central comic (and why Rucka destroyed Spectre and Question to punish fans for rejecting his crap).

There are very few post-crisis, post-Flashpoint Bruce and Dick early years comics. There's this, Waid and Samnee's previous book, Batgirl Year One, Robin Year One, Dark Victory and Last Halloween, and Year Three. It was pretty astute for Waid to say "There should be more of these now."

>Yeah, because they haven't been trying for years with them and have been failing everytime.
And you think garbage like New Titans and Teen Titans is the solution? Please do is a favour and stop wasting valuable oxygen.
>>
>>154260828
Most of these shouldn't count.
Robin is a minor third-act addition to Dark Victory at best.
Year Three is not set in the Bruce and Dick early years, it was a current-day story with occasional flashbacks to the loss of Dick's parents and his history with Zucco.
Batgirl Year One shouldn't count either, Batman and Robin are tertiary supporting characters.

Post-Crisis you missed the Grimm arc from LotDK, the Riddler: Year One miniseries, and that Two-Face two-parter that did one book with Dick as Robin and one book with Tim.
Post-Flashpoint you missed Robin & Batman.
>>
>>154256920

Writers tried that at points but it never stuck really, for most fans it was always about the found family Dick, Kori, Raven, Vic, Wally, Donna, etc established with each other
Young Justice exists if they want a revolving cast of young heroes
>>
>>154262763
That's another issue that has nothing to do with the original point. If you want to argue about that, DC had made multiple books with them and they have all failed. It's not that people just want read about "them", it's that DC failed to do something interesting with it for decades.
