What was the first cartoon you said "well, here it comes the diversity squad"
Not a cartoon, but the original New Mutants were the first time diversity became outright distracting.
>>154272323Having a diverse squad was always normal to me
>>154272323I grew up in a 99% white small town and never questioned stuff like this until my parents moved to the city and the diverse kids were nothing like the ones on tv. I was genuinely shocked that they weren't friendly and accepting.
>>154272323Only retroactively, many years later in the woke era I sort of realized what the loud SJW wanted was everything to be the Burger King Kidz club.
>>154272664Didn't they go "Oops!" and add an Asian kid later? Guess they forgot Asian kids eat burgers too.
>>154272323None, because my parents actually taught me kindness and acceptance.I feel sorry for you OP. Born in hate. Raised by bigotry. I mostly ended up there myself like >>154272623 but it wasn't their fault.
>>154272664As long as they had the need and tomboy minorities included.

Not really a cartoon but it was the BK kids club crew.Specially when they added the Asian girl later.
>>154272609One thing I always hated about diversity squads: the leader, always a white guy, always had a love interest on the team: the team's second white person, a girl. The Asian guy/girl, the Spanish guy/girl, were always single and sex-less. The black guy was always a eunuch until some episode where a black girl was introduced. Then he was madly in love for the next 1-2 episodes the black female character existed, then his hormones went dormant again.
>>1542728691 would be changed into a second black kid.
>>154273042Well in the Burger King Kids, the tomboy redhead girl liked Lingo, the Latino dude.
>>154273042never happened
The moment we stopped showing multiracial solidarity against evil, we had Nazis marching in Charlottesville.
>>154272323what was the deal with that one guys hat? I never got it
Diversity wasn't a thing until lately when the woke SJW shit happened. But it was a thing too back since 80s cartoons. There was the token black character, the Asian, ect. Don't know what to call it. But it was called politically correct in the 90s.
>>154273245Tokenism or inclusion, and it actually goes back to the 70's to some extent.
