it seems it is true that Amazon/MGM are really serious with this 'go everywhere at once' and arent depending solely on the movie for the brand to catch on again. hopefully this will bring more people and we get the she-ra movie.

I know the original show from the 80's recycled animation to such an embarrassing degree that the phrase "If you've seen one episode you've seen them all" takes a frighteningly literal meaning, with the writing being horribly generic to boot. Not to mention how the animation quality and sound design made the show seem more like it was from the 60's, Filmation just never improved as a studio since the early days. By all rights, the original show is a total joke, even for an 80's cartoon that was just made to market toys, say what you will about Transformers but at least that did spawn a franchise people still care about.

Now... How the hell did this thing end up even lamer than the original show?
