Was Craig really better than Clarence? I thought Clarence was funnier, but Mr. Enter says it is an Animated Atrocity comparable to My Gym Partner's a Monkey or Problem Solverz (aka giga cancer-AIDS) while Craig of the Creek is one of the best cartoons ever made like Avatar, Samurai Jack, or MLP:FIM, that is to say an Admirable Animation.
>>154280710I'm well aware this thread has been made over and over again, but I still can't believe those videos are Enter's. The fuck is up with his video titles now?
>>154280710Both of these sucked.
>>154280955No
>>154281014YoNeither were funny or remotely interesting and don't really have as many strong characters or stories as earlier slice of life toons like Hey Arnold, Recess, or even The Weekenders.
>>154280710Any show that tries to normalize faggotry loses my respect
>>154281082No, Clarence was neat
>>154280710They were both good shows what else is there to say
>>154281093Nobody cares
Mr. Enter is a weird, heavily autistic manchild, Canadian, it makes sense he’d have an implicit bias for something softer like Craig of the Creek and like it more.I’d agree with you tho, Clarence was way funnier
>>154281154>CanadianHold on, he's CANADIAN!? There's no way!
>>154281154>CanadianOf course he is.
>>154280710Man, moderation hit an all-time low if Entershillfag keeps returning.
>>154281268I should've paid more attention to how he says "sorry", because now I can't unhear it.
>>154280710>I have an opinion, but this YouTuber has a different opinion! >what am I supposed to do??consider suicide
>>154284344Enter generally has very good takes and is one of the oldest/most experienced animation critics on the platform, so I think his word counts for a lot
>>154280710Clarence was made for literal retards
>>154285087It makes sense that you would like Clarence since >>154285172
>>154281142I careI am gigachud
Enough with the damn tribalism, man.
The family parts of Craig in the Creek were pretty good if you liked black family sitcoms. You could actually tell the staff had black writers. The creek part was like a bunch of Cali millennials (who were indoor kids growing up) tried to make the GenZ EEnE/KnD and it just falls flat. Clarence took the plot of "kids just being kids" way better and the characters and plots were more relatable.
>>154286662My problem with Clarence was that it had Chowder syndrome. The side characters were so much better than the main character and the main character most of the time was like watching Patrick from the absolute worst of post-movie Spongebob.
>>154280710Craig is pretty boring because most of the characters don't act like kids. They're more like vessels for the adult creators working on the show to live out their urban fantasy adventures. It ends up being a weird gray area where the kids act too adult in spite of their environment.I prefer Clarence because most of the kid characters act like people you knew growing up.
>>154286662Mr. Enter says it was very relatable for him and that it is the closest thing to what his vision of Growing Around was, which is why it is his favorite show of all time
>>154280710Listening to Mr Enter is the problem
Craig of the Creek was really enjoyable. There were so many tiny moments I loved. >>154286662they do act like kids though. there are so many times in the series the kids are genuinely childish and silly and annoying.>>154286675Craig was fine, but there were some really cool side characters. It was neat seeing the random eps where JP and Kelsey were unavailable so Craig would hang out with others. There's one, "The Jump Off" that's just Craig hanging out with the other black kids
>>154280710Clarence was decent enough, but some changes in the art style (thicker lines and non outsourced animation) would've made it way better.Craig of the Creek represents everything that I hate about Tumblr millennial cartoons. If anyone think that thing is good, they're the reason why Cartoon Network went downhill in the mid 2010's.
>>154281154>Mr. Enter is a weird, heavily autistic manchildThat just describes the average cartoon reviewer right now. And somehow, he's still better than most of them by the mere merit of actually watching shows from before he was born.
>>154281142This
>>154285172Wrong.
>>154280710They both sucked
>>154291454No
