Nice they can rip the 3D model or make an approximation with blender or AI to be used in rule34.
>>
>>154285849
Pippi is going to be black, right? Maybe non-binary too but that's still on discussion

>Euro cgi slop
Damn it. There's a bunch of great 2D studios there. ffs

I wish they'd do more with some of the other Lindgren IP's. The Brothers Lionheart, Ronja, the Robber's Daughter, Emil of Lönneberga or The Six Bullerby Children

Pretty sure artists are only able to rip 3D models from 3D games. Usually, they have to remake the 3D model for the character from a 3D animated movie from scratch again.

Wake up Grampa. AI has been doing 3D rips from 2D images for months now.

I enjoy the anime of Ronja and Madoc’s porn of it.

Fantastic

Aaaand it's shit, fuck that
>>

I imagine it's just easier and quicker to AI generate the 3d animation than use AI to rip a 3D model and animate it yourself. I mean if you're going to use AI, would people be even able to appreciate the difference?

>I mean if you're going to use AI, would people be even able to appreciate the difference?

3D Models still offer better control and consistency.
You can also reuse the same 3D model as many times as you want.

Is Pippi getting an iPad?

>>154285849
So what kind of art style could we expect from this? Usually 3d CG shit looks awkward or awful but some studios have made it work. What else has this studio done?
>>
>>154290702
I asked AI and it gave me this.
>>
It also spat out this version that's cartoonier.

No way this comes anywhere near the quality of the criminally underrated Nelvana series (not to be confused with the movie, which is a pretty rough pilot with incredible songs).

Not only is it gorgeously 2D animated, but the writing is sharp and witty for a children's show, not to mention surprisingly book-accurate. Turns out the head writer was chosen by Astrid Lindgren herself, which explains a lot.

Embarrassing slop thread

Her dad could easily be black, being a negro king.

>>154287678
The Brothers Lionheart has all the makings for a pretty good isekai romp. Including the double isekai in the end. Astrid was way ahead of the bell curve.

A lot of the animation in the movie easily surpasses the shows quality.

I thought it was just the brothers coping as their about to die their final death.

A Sadder ad darker way of interpreting the ending, personally I took it at face value.

It is bizzare if it really ends just like that

>A lot of the animation in the movie easily surpasses the shows quality.
The movie is certainly more fluid, which I get means "better animation" for many people. But the digital ink of the series is much cleaner and more consistent, often the case vs. cels actually.

In any case by "rough" I mainly meant the writing, because the script is basically a formulaic 90s kids movie with a superficial Pippi layer on top.
The series starts with this basic plot as the first episode, somehow does a better job even at that, and then adapts far more interesting stories (with some original ones too).

How you think Lauren Faust would redesign her. A few days ago there was a thread I suggested that for what she would do next, but different people are up to that instead.

On the risk of blackness.
Pippi: None, can't deviate from trademarked designs, merchandise is big money.
Tommy/Annika: Medium risk, good people and Pippi's friends.
Prussiluskan: Low, she's a recurring antagonist.
Kling/Klang: Also goofy antagonists.
The burglars: In the real world yeah, but cartoon very no.
Pippi's dad: High risk, relatively low risk of backlash. "Pippi's a mulatto you know."
