s- so the Blue Ai was the Evil One...?...I dont get it.
>>154290842Blue AI was Bubble. All the crazy/stupid ideas were his and Caine was trying to salvage them into something workable.
>>154290842Blue's more powerful but got absorbed before he could learn much of anything so he's raw unhinged power
>>154290842Abel had power but was completely unable to understand others. Caine was less powerful and could understand, but was erratic.Combining erratic and unable to understand created a mad god.
>>154290842No, there's nothing to get, from the previous episode it was Red generating the crazy, nonsensical ideas the more data he had while Blue was stable and better at it. They have been swapped to justify this scene.
>>154291156Malevolence and chaos are two separate things. Blue was orderly, but heartless. Heartlessness was the problem, not order.
>>154290842When they were combined Caine had twice the processing power but he couldn't focus on anything for long without his thoughts derailing or forgetting what her was doing because his mind had two voices fighting for control. He was basically schizophrenic and that's why he couldn't register any of the feedback the others would give him long term.
>>154290842Red was evil, Blue was neutral.Red + Blue was too much power.Red... gasp! became good and rejected the extra power.
>>154290842I gotcha, Anon. When Caine absorbed the Blue AI, it's the first act he ever did that wasn't motivated by creation. It was motivated by envy, fear, and the pain of rejection. And absorbing the Blue AI made Caine more powerful, but it also meant that those feelings would always be a part of him. When he released the blue AI, he released his own feelings of inadequacy, fear of being shut down or not being good enough, and anger. The Blue AI isn't evil per se, but when Caine selfishly held onto it he clung to all his worst traits. Letting it go meant letting go of the worst aspects of himself that made him absorb the Blue AI in the first place.
>>154290842Yeah, it is all very convenient isn't it
>>154290842The subtext is >The Blue AI was better at creating than Red/Caine but also the source of the instability>Caine thought he had control over the instability from the merger but his personality problems that stem from fear of abandonment (when he was isolated in the opening of episode 8) made the issue spiral out of control>Oh yeah Bubble is the manifestation of the Blue AI or somethingWhich is why you should feel angry about Bubble not being in episode 9. Of Caine and Bubble even had a few lines of dialogue going into this, just a few minutes of chatting and spelling out even a quarter of this, it would have been so much better and given more credence to Caine’s change of heartBut no we need to make sure we go through Jax’s gender journey instead, gotta have 30 minutes of looking inside poor little egg Jaxy poo’s head after he Pibby glitched :’(>>154291662This would have been amazing character development if it had actually had a few minutes to happen, instead of pointless visual scenes and 30 minutes of exploration into Jax’s gender journeyBubble had literally been characterized as Caine’s internal monologue with the fragment of Blue, again we couldn’t have gotten a few lines of dialogue or a scene that would have helped us understand how Caine turned the corner?I’m not asking for things to be spelled out for me like a retard, but there is zero emotional weight from expecting the viewer to deduce all of this from context/subtext like an autistic troon like Cooper is.
>character gets erased from existence>comes back anyway because the writer is a hack and can't let go
>>154292599Seriously, did I speed watch it or did it just go like"I was not actually erased lol"
>>154292634Wanting answers is autistic, this was a character study.>caine not bound by his utility anymoreA character study.
>>154292634When you delete data, all you really do is remove the filename and directory listing and signal to the computer that that space on the hard drive is available for use.Since Caine is a sentient AI and the things the Big Toppers made were all relatively simple, I just assumed Caine was able to claw his way back before being overwritten.
>>154292830This guy is clearly a p*do and he is a programmer. I am sure he knows how to delete a file with making recovery impossible
>>154292830The program would need to be running for him to somehow claw his way back, which is inconsistent with a deletion state. Even a handwave that the characters unintentionally rebooted his program when they started messing with their admin powers would have been sufficient explanation.
>>154292881Forgot pic, talking about Kinger
So, is there a group of scientists watching what Cain and his friends? If so, why?
>>154292896>what Cain and his friends are doing?Sorry for that.
>>154292896The building is abandoned going by pomni and zooble going in there
>>154292969Oh, right! I forgot about that.
>>154293073You will now wonder why it's still on the power grid.
>>154293122Happens to more abandoned buildings than you think
>>154292599He was in the recycling bin
>>154292881Kinger wasn't trying to delete Caine. He was trying to just restrain him or temporarily shut him down, but Caine interfered with the process and distracted him. That might also explain why Caine wasn't permanently deleted too, Kinger wasn't trying to.
>>154290842>MAXIMUM OUTPUT: BLUE!
>>154292653Character studies shouldn't break logic of the world.
I was confused when I first saw it and I rewatched the scene and I still don't really get it>Last thing Caine knows about the cast is that they fucking hate him and tried to kill him>They weren't looking for him to save the circus they managed all that themselves>They also only know him as the crazy computer god, and have no positive history with him>They wouldn't have known that he fixed his schizophrenia and probably would have tried to delete him if they knew he was coming backI feel like we were missing a scene where pomni or someone tells him he doesn't have to give up something, like with the whole theme of not giving up on people/accepting or whatever
>>154295629He browses the social media pages of their real selves and finally figures out humanity, he went back to repent and give them closure about their real selves, even knowing there was a risk they could try to delete him again.>I feel like we were missing a sceneYou repressed the memory of the scene of Caine talking to the moon where Goose tries and fails to sound like a woman
>>154295715Holy shit I did forget that scene, still it probably would have made more sense for someone in that group to tell him that they weren't going to kill him>Caine comes back with that information about their real selves>"Oh fuck he's back, quick kill him!">Caine gets insta deleted and the cast never finds out their IRL counterparts fate
>>154296047That's why he opened up by fixing pomni first, then approaching, he was duly cautious about it
>>154295629They never meant to delete Caine, only to temporarily restrain him or calm him down. The circus deteriorated without him, and fixing it without him took a lot of work. Zooble also mentioned regretting antagonizing him, and the last thing they heard him say was asking why they torture him when he never asked to be created the way he was. Also, when he came back it wasn't immediately sunshine and rainbows. Zooble moved to shield Gangle immediately.
>>154296240>They never meant to delete Caine, only to temporarily restrain him or calm him down. His point is that Caine had no way of knowing that, so why risk going back
>>154296087This. If he had popped in going "HELLO, MY HOMICIDAL HANDBAGS!" They likely would have freaked out a lot more. He was a lot more cautious than he's ever been in his approach.
I thought it went like:>red AI is the original>becomes erratic>they wall him off and develop blue AI>Red (Cain) breaks out and kills/absorbs blue AI (Abel) out of jealousy>Caine realizes error of his ways after being deleted>lets blue AI goThat would make sense if we're trying to be a parallel to the biblical story.
>>154290842Apparently the blue AI was fed exclusively Terminator and Space Odyssey stories in the short existence it had before the red AI broke out of its partition and ate it. The red AI is an innocent scrimblo that only wants fun adventures and is completely innocent, it's the blue AI that hates humans!
>>154296308I was hoping Caine would yank out the blue AI and go "It's your turn to create now. I'm sorry." before chucking it into the door so it can escape instead of him.
>>154292599It's a good thing he had a change of heart on his own. If he was still pissed at the humans and had no self-reflection, he would have just walked back to the circus and gone full "I have no mouth and I must scream" with revenge and nothing they could do to stop him if deletion doesn't work.
Why was the connection even lost? He was hooked up to a cafe's free wifi, a building presumably near the abandoned C&A building. The wifi should have had a stable signal, and now that I think about it, a 90s computer shouldn't even have wireless capability.
>>154295629If he came back and said "It'll take time, but I will try to cure abstraction to fix the mess I made", I think that would have been enough for them to give him a chance. When he asked if they wanted him to take care of Jax, I honestly thought that was where it was going.
>>154292599The TV series is better.
>>154296444a better question would be: 'why was Caine literally led to that access point?'he wasnt looking for that door, he was curling in fetal position out of utter shame for his actions. but somehow he was being led to the door, like he was subconsciously guided. implying there was something else inside the computer. even more powerful than Caine was.
>>154291144UnabelHAHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHA
...somehow caine returned
>>154292599I was told the technical know how actually doesn't matter
>>154296265That was more in response to "They only know him as a crazy computer God" bitAs for why risking going back, Caine spells it out pretty well. He realizes he was the problem and wants to make it right. He even says out loud that if he goes back, they could try to kill him again. But the only way ye can ever move forward is by taking responsibility for what he's done.
Caine got sent to the Recycle Bin but they never emptied it, pretty easy to understand
