The different Jaxes in Jax's mind represent the attitude he'd take in case one of them abstracted, depending on which one.If Ragatha abstracted he'd go completely violent. She was the last thing keeping his sanity intact, even Pomni wouldn't be able to save him then. If Zooble abstracted he'd wear the maid dress in mockery to her, and act sexually predatory to Gangle, who is wearing Zooble's plastic happy mask to get her to associate the mask with her fear of him, and thus stop wearing it. That mask is a drain on her own sanity.If Gangle abstracted he'd go full comic villain towards Zooble to help Zooble express her rage in Gangle's loss. He can play the villain, that's fine with him.And if Pomni abstracted he'd become completely docile, like Evil Jax. He never wanted what happened to his mom, Ribbit, and Kaufmo to happen to anyone else, and sees Pomni as kind of a more stubborn version of Ribbit. Should it indeed happen again he'd have no aggression left to express.But all are just personas protecting his shadow, and his ego.
