Biggest one sided beef ever

>Disney were making films by themselves with their own money before Bugs Bunny was even created
>Warner Bros never made a animated film by themselves until the 90s even though historically they were always a vastly bigger company
>WB only starting caring about films after the success of Roger Rabbit which Disney made
>WB treated their own characters like crap in the 70s and 80s with cheapo anthology content
>Every WB film outside of Space Jam was a flop
>Nobody at Disney ever took shots at WB's stuff

What did he mean by this?

Space Jam is better than all but like 3 or fewer Disney films
>>

Not really.
>>
>>154324829
Do you think Bugs would be horny for Mickey?
>>
>>154324869
I like Space Jam, but no.

The Sonic vs Mario of animation

At least Sonic had games.

Bugs fucks human men

Disney is the birthplace of the animation industry’s inferiority and superiority complexes and their formal conditions. This image is merely a philosophical statement on craft politics from the practitioner’s point of view.

It’s just banter, man.

As much as I would shill for old school Walt, Warner Bros is still based for their older animation
>>
>>154332351
No

>>154332485
People say this as if Disney relies on Mickey when they actually barely use him.

No, stop letting them live rent free in your head

Whatever they’ve been trying with the one that already is
>>
>>154332512
Nta but it's more so that their entire legacy and branding falls under Micky Mouse. Remove Micky Mouse and you just have the pure corporate DISNEY branding without the warmth of a legacy from early works.

>Disney will rely on their fresher mascots like Stitch
It's weird you bring that up, but I think you're right. There has been a weird amount of product churn in recent years around the IP and most Zoomers I know have fond memories of Lilo and Stitch more than anyother Disney related property. I think Disney knows that they have intentionaly/unintentionly put down the foundations for next generational mascot for the corporate brand via Stitch and are now trying to make returns on that.

Cinderella's Castle is used to represent legacy Disney more than Mickey is.
>>
>>154334205
WRONG!!!!!!!! THE LOGO WAS AURORA'S CASTLE BEFORE BECOMING A HYBRID OF ALL OF THE CASTLES IN 2006!!!! YOU'LL NEVER KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT DISNEY YOU DISNEYLET!!!!!!
>>
>>154334244
That is irrelevant. The castle is still used more than Mickey.
>>
>>154334151
"They" (meaning Warner Bros) didn't create the character. They were just distributing the films made by Hugh Harman and Rudy Ising, two ex-Disney animators who went into business for themselves.

And they weren't the only ones doing Mickey ripoffs. And Mickey himself was a reinterpretation of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. And Oswald was just Disney's riff on Felix the Cat. So who was stealing from whom?
>>
>>154334244
No, the logo castle is just a hybrid of Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella Castle. The only time they've put the Every Princess Castle in front of a movie was the Mulan remake because that's what the castle in Shanghai Disney is.
>>
>>154334263
Mickey is the most iconic symbol of the brand worldwide. In consumers’ day to day lives he’s everywhere and audiences are more personally attached to the characters and music than other branding.

Do you teething when you see strikethrough numbers? Because I'm getting stress through the amount of deleted replies this thread alone has. AND I HAVE QUESTIONS WHAT THOSE REPLIES REALLY MEAN!!!
>>
>>154334789
People are attached to the movie characters not Mickey.
