I think their biggest mistake was just being indie and needing rabbid obsessives buying merch to fund the thing. Too much of the fanbase was not just emotionally but financially invested in their headcannons for any ending to have been well recieved. Not sure why the chuds are so mad about it honestly, it ended with a trannny killing themselves. You'd think they'd gotten everything they wanted

It is a relatively short story that works well enough. The twist was good. I was happy the end wasn't a subversion or a copy paste of the inspiration. Jax being a tranny was weird but he got turned into a dog which was funny. It was a fine bittersweet ending. The first episodes were the worst part, so if people weren't bitching about those they have nothing to bitch about with the ending. I Think I can respect Glitch for maintaining complete freedom over the story. Fair enough tranny.
