The sole saving grace is that it's still recognizably Superman in basic premise (Superman fights bad guys in Metropolis, love drama, Lois and Jimmy and Lex, etc), even if it's still Byrne-influenced.You only have a couple options for Green Lantern adaptations and that's to either pull from the 60s-70s or pull from the 90s-2000s. Either the rise and fall and redemption of Hal, or a soft reboot that combines the modern GL stuff by Johns with the older stuff.MAWGL shows no indication of being remotely Green Lantern based on what information we have. And considering that the budget for MAWGL is reportedly lower than MAWS' currently airing season, I don't think they'll get to do anything remotely sci-fi like traditional GL.
