The people who run the site don't give a fuck and probably actually welcome shitposting as a sign of activity for advertisers. Plus we're just aging out as a forum. Activity has dropped off a cliff and many boards are less active now than they were in their initial years.
But it also just kind of sucks that there's no good anonymous replacement because discord or in ancient times IRC or named forums all come with their own baggage and power/attention struggles which I've always hated.
