What a pathetic show. Gooseworx was right about destroying the show with the tranny self projection.Jax's plot could have finished right at the abstraction. We could infer enough about his personality and what had happened up until that point. Could have cut the ribbit backstory in half and left out the tranny part. The bigger part of his character should be the fact that he thinks he murdered his mom, but that's instantly replaced as the important part with the stupid bow to make the tranny part more prominent.Anyway, the better angle would have been a philosophical/psychological story. Brains in a jar trapped. Dealing with the emotions and implications of that. I have no mouth and I must scream - but that would require being able to make a good story. The ending where they all jump and prance around happy and half the episode is about jax being a tranny is just pathetic. They are not just gonna be sitting there happy being faced with eternity in a fake world . That's the interesting part that got completely pushed to the side.

At some point I'd love to have an indie cartoon where a good animator pairs up with a good writer. I keep getting frustrated when these showrunners hook me with nice character designs and direction, but are kinda amateurish on storytelling

Bubble only ended up being so weird and corrupted because Caine was as well as time went on. With Caine no longer the ringmaster of the Circus, Bubble is kind of redundant and stopped existing as an extension of Caine.Abel was just another AI character.
