Out of your ass?
>>
>>154334531
If I was posting out of my ass i wouldn't be giving Kelly 100K and 80K units or a mid ass issue (I don't like Kelly's run btw), I have to make sure it aligns with ICV2 rankings btw

thats a whole lotta numbers..

These are meaningless unless you explain your methodology and data.
>>
Interesting starting point. Now you could...
-Explain your reasoning and data
-Make it into a graphic to easily visualize the ups and downs
-Compare it with another popular book, for example Batman, to see how it tracks. On it's own it doesn't mean much

I can give you the full breakdown but I can't type longer here's how the calculations go

Sales=estimated top chart sales*sales ratio
estimated top chart sales= sales of a comic in Xth position/X's ratio (X=7/8/9/10)
Sales of a comic in Xth position is estimated by looking at it's position in ICV2 and check comichron for it's estimated numbers (an average of sales in that position for 36 consecutive months)

If Sales aligns with Comichron's history with the respective ICV2 position, or it's off by 2k, then the sales's value is accepted or else pick the next X value, I can be confident with my estimates since Absolute Books and other crossover books from Marvel/DC distorts the top position and it's effects on the market doesn't trickle down to other books down the position (Here are 3 examples of that https://bleedingcool.com/comics/absolute-catwoman-beats-armageddon-in-top-ten-weekly-bestseller-list/, https://bleedingcool.com/comics/absolute-batman-dominates-bleeding-cool-top-ten-weekly-bestseller-list/, https://bleedingcool.com/comics/deadpool-batman-destroys-top-ten-bleeding-cool-weekly-bestseller-list/) and I make sure it aligns with the ICV2 chart that's why I'm so sure of this
>>
TL;DR even DC basic comics are outselling ASM

As for a graph chart, here's Joe Kelly's performance (Estimated) against BND and JMS run, Kelly's first 10 issues were doing well and certainly peaked in #11 but for some reason the space issue wasn't selling as much so is Spider-Norman however due to crossover with Venom and Carnage, death Spiral saw a somewhat of an uptick in sales Particularly because of the cliffhanger in #25 leading to #26 and Spider-Carnage in #27 and Kelly somehow retained that much sales upto his very next issue only to plummet back to his #12-#22 numbers at #29

Judging by the overall performance historically, with the last Pre OMD and the first post OMD series as a reference Joe Kelly is somehow performing closer to the latter while lagging behind the former

That's interesting. JMS sold unnaturally consistent numbers, that's cool. And sales haven't really changed in 20 years for the book. Sure Kelly is selling slightly worse in average but he surpasses the previous runs once in a while
>>
>>154336569
It's not that sales hasn't changed for 20 years it's just Joe Kelly is performing worse than BND
>>

All three runs on the chart are really close to each other. I know Kelly is performing worse but by a small margin
