Really deflates the point of everything"Starship Troopers" used to be the prime example of "media literacy" in the leftist brain, and the disconnect between author's intent vs author's output.But I think TADC is a good contender, for completely dropping the show's more interesting themes and questions to solely focus on a trans storyline that, upon inspection, (at best) doesn't really fit when viewed as part of the whole narrative, and (at worst) is far easier to interpret through an anti-trans viewpoint.
