You had the Living Tombstone, Gooseworx, Maxwell Atoms, James Inglehart in that thing before it became a viral hit. The former 2 were semi known but the latter 2 are in the industry proper. Add in her being bold enough to approach Brandon Rodgers, who was her longtime favorite YouTuber, plus Richard Horvitz and you have a gaggle of very well connected people to promote your stuff/get you in front of the right people. Many people would be shy to approach these individuals with their Internet autism cartoon but she wasn't and it paid off. Once you're in and you're popular, it's an easy climb up

You get to interact with them 1 to 1 while the hate mob only has a caricature. I think Viv is questionable as fuck and knows when to not act out with certain people, which makes her a little smart. But at this point, no amount of Google docs and video essays will cause industry veterans and executives to turn away from her. If anything, she's proof that you don't wimp out at pushback, so many people have vanished online at the slightest outrage and miss out on gold

Honestly my bar is on the floor for this if the movie is not genndy’s fixed tier offensive to my sensibilities I’m interested. Viv’s designs were always the most interesting thing about her work but her shows are budgetcucked to look so fucking ugly and I’m interested to see what it looks like with money.I’ll take mid characters and story just look cool.
