Abel is definitely fat since he lines up with how Viv draws fat people, Adam is more ambiguous given his face and arms, inconsistent proportions and viv exclusively liking fanart where he's not fat. Apparently this was because the animators were not given any instructions on what he looks like under the robe so the fat fetishists on crew went wild and did whatever they wanted. This problem was fixed in s2 but you'll note how hallucination Adam is fatter than the real Adam
