But on a serious note though, sure, Piandao probably could figure out that Sokka was Water Tribe by looking at him but his name was probably the kicker. I imagine there’s a lot of ethnic admixture in the Colonies so the idea that some folks within them have Water Tribe Blood isn’t all that outlandish to me, however, over time I imagine they’d have at least adopted Fire Nation names.
