I've seen people say anime is weird, but honestly, I feel like American cartoons at their weirdest are weirder than anime ever is. Shows like Ren and Stimpy, CatDog, Adventure Time, Billy and Mandy, The Amazing World of Gumball, Cow and Chicken, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Flapjack, Chowder, SpongeBob and Invader Zim feel like genuine drug trips. Even Powerpuff Girls had moments of feeling high with characters like HIM and how weird he was.
