Disney brought back their old Ducks, Goofys, and Chipmunks for shows, Warner made kid versions of the Looney Tunes characters.Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network also started up their own in-house stuff for new creatives who made things as opposite from the 80s action figure shows as possible so we got way more talking animals there too.And TMNT was fucking HUUUUGE in 1990, so all the action figure shows for several years was also the streetwise cool hip talking animal. Giving up Street Sharks, Biker Mice from Mars, Road Rovers, Mighty Ducks, COW Boys, etc.
