How involved is Marvel beyond just giving them the license to publish this?

Also, it looks like the last issue Byrne posted on his board was #32, back in 2022. Unless he has drawn any more since then, these collections are going to end on an unresolved cliffhanger.

That's what I'm wondering, has Byrne said he did more new pages in the time since? I know that he put it on hold because he was having eye surgery and the last new work of his I remembered seeing was the final Funky Winkerbean comics he did

i hate the coloring and inking on it. it looked better from fan inks on forums than official ink/colors from marvel/the 3rd world subcontractor they sent it off to. it should be using the colors from 80s, not shitty digital flats and blending gradients.
