With how blatant and on the nose the IHNMAIMS inspiration was, I figured Jax would have sacrificed himself to grant Caine the humanity needed to understand what he was doing is wrong and why everyone hates being in the circus. I feel like it would have been a pretty good way to end things and give his character a proper arc.
Just don't make the one character bully the other character to suicide if you want me to care enough about them to tolerate the whole finale being about the bully's feelings.

Jax keeps pretending he's a cartoon character>Pomni tells everyone what Jax did and some members in the circus start recriminating Jax. Some start saying they get it but they can't start fighting each other and cause more grief. This explodes into everyone fighting and bringing up their grievances with each other>Caine want's to calm everyone down but realizes he has no idea how to handle this situation and makes everyone unable to hear, see or touch each other in the circus until he figures out what to do.>All of the drama drives Pomni to trying to leave the circus againFrom there you can expand into arcs like Pomni figuring out what exactly the circus is while developing the relationships with the other characters and have them figure out if they can even live with Jax after all of this.

The circus is hard coded to have at least one human player (which is how Kinger never abstracted) and this cannot be overridden. Jax gets a true IHNMAIMS ending as the nothing god of nothing world.
