Furries are largely independent with their own creator owned concepts and projects not aiming for marketability, which he would respect even if he doesn't find them to be of much worth. He'd probably wryly say that he considers furry porn more respectable than modern corporate big two comics.

It was more like a “It’s not happening, you’re crazy, but also it is happening, and you deserve it” kinda thing.
