I always thought the older Finn we see in Distant Lands and in F&C looked ugly and gross, he’s so beardy and hairy. I wanted him to be a pretty boy like Link from Zelda. Also, in the Obsidian special we see Finn has a Jake tattoo and everyone assumed that yeah Jake died and Finn got that tattoo in remembrance of him. But in F&C we see that brief memory that Fern shows to Fionna of Jake dying and Finn screaming out Jake’s name and in that memory Finn has the Jake tattoo. Why does he have a Jake tattoo if Jake didn’t die yet? He has it because Jake’s his best friend? I feel like they originally intended in Distant Lands the tattoo to be a remembrance thing but then retconned it for F&C so he got the tattoo before Jake died.

At one point we even had two a week, they were so popular. By the end the only constant presence was ColdFusion and his endless excuses for why he hadn't improved one bit in the years he'd been drawing for us.
