He should've been taken way more seriously outside of the group. Yeah the big damn heroes clowning on him as a hangeron before he earns his way in works because they don't know him and he's seemingly a blowhard nobody but everyone that knows him shoulda treated him as way more seriously. Same for his own naievety about his family all the papa jokes fell flat.
