Isn't it time for A Bug's Life 2 by now? A Bug's Life was the second 3D animated movie that Pixar made, it was a box office success, and had merch and video-games. I'd rather see a new Bug's Life movie using modern day technology than Toy Story 6. I can't really think of a plot to make A Bug's Life 2 about. I'd just not use any of the previous characters in Bug's Life 1- their designs look so outdated by now. I'd just make the entire movie be set at night with nocturnal insects like moths and fireflies. What would you like to see in A Bug's Life 2?
nobody remembers this shit
>>154376449I rather they not ruin another film with a lame ass sequel, thank you.>>154376474I do, Fagadoon
>I swear. If I hadn't promised mother on her deathbed that I wouldn't kill you, I would kill you>And believe me, no one appreciates that more than I do>Shut up. I don't wanna hear another word out of you while we're on this island. Do you understand me?>.....>I said, do you understand me?!>Well, how can I answer? You said I couldn't say another word
One thing is for certain. Neither movie got a decent game. Both are shit
A Bug Chaser's Life
>>154376611A Bug's Life has so many underrated great moments. Hopper's brother is lowkey one of the best Pixar comic reliefs.
>>154376738Don't you dare slander "Oh, Yeah!" simulator.
>>154376474This was the first, or one of the first, movie I remember seeing in theaters.
>>154376449It's been so long I think it's okay to let it rest. I feel the same about Ratatouille, Wall-E and Up. No need to go back there. If it were say, 2006, I'd absolutely agree with you.
Hopper did nothing wrong.
>>154376449Have you seen Pixar's output lately? I'd rather they not.
>>154376738I didn't even know either had a game
What could you do with a second Bug's life?
I'm assuming you're joking but I'll answer sincerely. Movies like Toy Story had room to grow and explore, and managed a nice trilogy doing so. I think arguably 4 and 5 have solid ground (what happens when a toy is done for good, what are toys like nowadays when technology is a factor (not like Nintendo is new though)) but still shouldn't really have been made. I feel Bug's Life was such a complete movie that anything continuing it would feel a bit too much like "oh, and one more thing"; it'd feel like that hunchback sequel made just so Quasimodo could get laid. I think if it absolutely had to be cashed in on, I'd go anthology. More Bug's Life, but not the same bugs. A new story, new heroes, ideally new bugs, new setting. Expand the world. Zootopia should've done the same imo but I understand their duo has a lot more star power (somehow) than Flick and friends. Speaking of, Zootopia recently replaced A Bug's Life in disney's animal kingdom, so it'd be hilariously bad timing to make a new one.
>>154380636A bug’s life is a popular enough game that it is being included in the Toy Story Retro Roundup as a bonus game since it was made by Travelers Tales who developed the other Pixar games in the collection.
>>154381483Toy Story Reto RoundupHuh, didn't know about this. Never got to play a single one of those games back in the day; Thanks for the heads-up!
