"Eve" is an incredibly loaded name. She's remembered as the first woman, the one associated with the Fall and humanity's original sin. If she's spent millennia building herself into Heaven's most feared Exorcist lieutenant, why would she keep introducing herself by the name everyone associates with that history? "Lute" gives her a clean slate. It lets people know her for who she is now, not for who she was at the beginning of humanity. From a storytelling standpoint, it also preserves the mystery. If everyone called her Eve from episode one, there wouldn't be a reveal to build toward.

But the fandom, for some reason thinks that Viv doesn't change things? All of it sounds like it was something that was proposed and maybe Viv wanted to go with it at first? But clearly the series is not playing out like that at all.. Like at all at all.

There are certain patterns and things she does or says, but from what I gather, when there is something she's particularly excited about, she tends to talk a lot. I believe she also has ADHD so that play into it, and then she goes on several tangents. When she's really confident, she'll just answer straight away, no issue. And every time, when it comes to Lilith, there has been no issue meaning Lilith has always been this way, she's been this way since Charlie's childhood. And this is where people kind of start to lose the argument because then if we're still insisting on the twin switch theory, they will change tune and say that oh Eve raised Charlie, then that turns into well Eve is actually Charlie's mother.. And then the argument starts to fall apart. There is so much going against it. And then of course Viv outright debunked switch theories, but people are still trying to twist the words around.
