Has it ever occurred to you that Carol Danvers just isn't that popular and that the first movie being sandwiched between 2 Avenger films was its only excuse for "success"? She has had 5-6 relaunches in the past 15 yrs with no run passing her original Ms. Marvel run. Avengers have dwindled in sales cause of her staying on the team. Even Kamala gets in more projects than she does. Just accept it anon, Carol is just not popular. Never has been, never will be

>>154504849have you have 5-6 comic book runs in the past 15 years OP? no you have not>>154503265has it occurred to you that nobody gives a shit about comic book sales? you cannot point to a single movie of the past 20 years that helped comic book sales, the nearest thing there is is The Walking Dead selling lots and lots of the first and second trades and nearly nothing after that because people realized how fucking awful it is, and then the show dropped hard tooliterally Green Lantern could have sold a comic book to 1 in 10 of the people who saw it in theaters and that comic book would have been the highest selling title of 2011 by like 800,000 copiesnobody cares>>154505498she was more interesting around the time she ended up on New Avengers, but Bendis wrote her like a blank slate instead of a decorated air force test pilot and all the work that was done to make her a character in her solo around that time was ignored her problem is not being a natural supporting character or even being ignored, it's being bundled into books that are written in a childlike way with no real reason to be there except cheesecake/synergypretty much the same thing happens with Spider-Man but because he's in everything nobody really notices how bad most of it is, like he shows up and says something pun-intended "off the wall" like he's got fucking tourettes or something and then he's Guest Starring Spider-Man and your sales are theoretically helped by thatbut the actual things he says are rarely funny or even relevant, most of these writers couldn't hack it in a sitcom writer's room with twenty other people pitching lines to give their script a little zing or a single fucking jokeand yet they all think they're going to write the next MCU/DCU blockbuster
