I know im beating a dead horse but I still hate how much of a major issue the transition (heh) from the funny ensemble show to the "uh oh yeah pomni has to make the plot move forward" is, it was way too abrupt.like episode 1 is the pilot so it has to basically introduce the world and setting and dynamicsepisode 2 is more pomni focusedepisode 3 is clearly kinger and pomni focusedepisode 4 is gangle focused, and then episode 5 is jax focused...but then the jax focused episodes don't really stop and the # of jokes basically rapidly shrinks so by the 8th episode theres almost no comedy left.obviously episode 8 has minimal amounts of jax (almost as few as the episode where he's literally gagged) but if you remember that it is a direct lead in to the movie/finale, jax gets nearly twice as many lines as pomni in the final two episodes.I still think that the show will be less fondly remembered than it is currently by most people when they rewatch it and realize how much it fell apart.The show is basically a Steven Universe but with more solid episodes than steven universe before it turned to shit.
