blackarachnia was one of many breaths of fresh air in the og beast wars. Before blackarachnia, the only reoccurring fembot was Arcee. Other than that you had a one off episode with some fembots like Elita 1 and Chromia. None of them got to be evil. None of them got to be sexual. Elita partnered with Optimus but nothing came of it. The relationships chromia and the others had with the main series bots is hinted at but not confirmed. Arcee too is nevwr really allowed to be evil or that assertive. Its hinted at in the movie that she would take a nore active role but its kind of dropped in season 3 and not picked up with any serious intent until season 4. Season 4 is kind of weird because Arcee appears to have a weird mother, girl friend infatuation with Daniel, a preteen boy.Anyway, she wasnt really fleshed out. Her relationships weren't fleshed out. She never got a toy. Then blackarachnia comes onto the scene. She's assertive. She's smart. She's flawed because she is selfish and bratty. She gets to have a romantic relationship with another character. One of the few in the first 20 years of the franchise. And she got a toy. She got a couple toys. Does she need huge honkers? Yeah, kind of. Its one of many ways she asserts her self. Could they have removed them? Probably, yeah. But they could have removed an entire list of things about her until you're back where you were with Chromia and elita 1. Remove things until the characters aren't in the show or have toys. I dont think people who ask about the tits understand the character. She starts as a selfish intelligent bratty character. Having her honkers out in a world of mostly powerful men is on brand for her. She matures through the series and by her transmetal form starts to cover them up. The tits represent her willingness to manipulate those around her. As she grows as a character, she covers them up and it becomes a less important part of her design
