A company who recognizes his talent gives him a genderswap drug that turns him into a pretty woman, finally giving him the combination of body and skill to make his dream a reality.It works because the drug is temporary, meaning he has to balance his schedule around when the drug will wear off or intentionally changing back to deal with stuff that he needs to handle as his male identity, as well as the fact that as the female 'Han Yoil' identity he gets to have all of the success he has wanted for himself but he doesn't actually see being a woman as anything other than a means to an end, which creates friction. Also he has to re-learn all of his dance skills because his muscle memory is wrong for this body, etc. Implementation wise its just surprisingly good at balancing all of the elements it has going for it.

I think it would be interesting for a canonically trans character to try a magic method to transition only for her spell to accidentally hit one of her friends too.
