Time for a thread about the site's favorite shock jock girl

Would Anon be able to outtroll her?

This never made sense to me. This was by far the shittiest villain origin story

i've always kinda preferred her design before she got her powers and it's a shame because i think the shock jock angle could be used to make her stand out amongst superman's villains
could have her live a double life the same as clark, wherein by day she's a podcaster talking mad shit about superman and when she's not podcasting she's a supervillainess
of course she can hide how she looks but it kinda takes some effort, the moment she makes contact with sources of electricity like power outlets her hair spikes up and she can't see with her glasses and all that

Honestly supervillains having a secret identity is something I’m surprised isn’t used more often in superhero media. Nowadays, it seems like the trope is used for only the big new mystery villains.

You are not stupid enough for this thread/board.
>>
>>154522203
Yeah as sexy as her main design is, it wasn't worth giving up her sexy human design
Just use two sexy designs instead of one, it's not rocket science

Was she supposed to be asian? She's completely Caucasian looking when she transformed
>>

No, she's blond in the comic
>>
>>154525905
Isnt it noncanon because she's blonde in the comic? I thought she's invented as a character from the show first

>>
>>154521516
The 90s' radio shock jock archetype hasn't really translated to podcasting and vlogging. And that's sad in a way because the closest equivalents in the podcasting format are usually lame as shit.

Nu52 had her as a trend-jumping influencer who gained her powers when trying to pull a "prank" by messing with the Metropolis power grid.
>>
>>154525986
I think the comic was made for the cartoon, so I guess it could be
The implication was that she dyed her hair anyway, which isn't that unusual
Still, she's cuter with black hair than blonde (or blue)

>>

They could have done something right, but no—they decided to go down the "arms dealer" route.
Leslie, a Black girl from the city, hassling good ol' Clark Kent (the intern fresh off the farm) at work, all while he's interacting with the proactive Lois Lane.
There was literally something better than the crap they turned her into

>>
>>154527757
Oh nice. But I like to see the anoymous's artstyle and different take.
>>
>>154527465
A great example of why I hate adaptions. They make all the villains have the same origin so they're just different career criminals instead of villains. In no world should Livewire, Blockbuster and Silver Banshee all basically feel the same.
>>
>>154528035
That's what happens when the show is made people that never read comics or watch Superman tas, and just want to turn it into a fake anime version but gay.
>>
>>
>>154522927
It's kinda underused when you consider that the whole "secret identity" thing likely has it's roots in stuff like Jekyll and Hyde, where Hyde is a split persona for Jekyll that allows him to engage in depravity without fear of anything bad happening to him, and once he realizes the transformation will eventually be permanent he starts losing it for fear of the consequences of his actions and Hyde becomes his own persona. You can kinda feel this in some villains, namely the Green Goblin.
>>154527465
Personally, she doesn't interest me. She's more her own deal that happens to share the same name as Leslie, and is more just another goon that robs banks or some shit. Like to me she's a character who's her own deal entirely. Think 03 Jinx who's more of an adaptation of the Scarlet Witch than she is the actual Jinx or the Red Skull's son Electro from Spider-Man TAS.
A lot of MAWS villains feel that way to me. Like just really divorced from their own original concepts. A few do it well like Parasite but others like Silver Banshee, Heat Wave and Deathstroke don't. Brainiac is alright but he's more of a Robo-Zod than he is Vril Dox.
>>
>>154522927
That's because villains lose their secret identities when they go to jail and new villains that don't suck are really difficult to make.
>>
>>154527465
Very uninteresting, and generic. She doesn't even look resemble to the og of her design and it's dumb to have her as a lesbian which is so sterotypical (especially dating a gender swap villain name Heat Wave, who is suppose to be male and he's a Flash villain). Just take take away her name, and she's just some regular goon.
>>
>>154521516
She should be clark's gf instead, honestly be funny if more superheroes really double lifed

>Super self has a gf/crush
>Alter ego has a gf/crush
Always felt weird thing with superman is he's always with lois and at times even dated or is known to be in love with her. But then clark is so close to her and also moves in with her no one ask about this either lois is cheating or clark is superman. It makes it super obvious sometimes.

>TFW Leslie will never shock your balls as you throat fuck her
>>
>>154522927
Is this real? The fact that superhero’s girls knew enough to use Leslie as a podcaster makes the adventures treatment (and god awful design) that much worse
>>
>>154529993
Question does she do it on purpose or when your balls slap her chin it gives you a little jolt?
>>154529963
Erohoney is single handedly keeping the ship alive

Also yes, she is a fun girl for clark.Think she'd work well with clark. Though many are so used to Maws clark they forget og clark is kind of a chad troll. He's not so good boy he doesn't have some banter in him which I think would shock leslie and make her like him even more

It makes more sense than you think at first glance. She's someone who lives in a world of hyperbole, conspiracies, and ragebait. His work and life isn't too far removed, but is far, far calmer, just reporting balls and strikes, no need to editorialize and put a target on yourself. I could imagine the two of them meeting up at a presser for some big LexCorp product reveal with her heckling sitting next to him by chance, both of them letting it out that they really don't like Luthor, and since his security people saw both of them laughing at some of the same jokes, they both got thrown out when Leslie started heckling Lex. They both have a big laugh about it back on their way to the bus stop/train station when they both have to decline a nightcap for...reasons.

I can envision a lot of 'alternative/legacy media' shenanigans, combined with their double lives. The drama coming from the fact that Supes has to come to terms with the idea that stagnation isn't heroic, and for Leslie that chaos doesn't always lead to the truth.
