And now for…this, I guess?Marvel apparently decided that they’re going to celebrate Disability Pride Month again, after doing it last year in the Infinity Comics. This time, they’ve gone with a multi-part story running through their ongoings (like Weapon X-Traction), but because it has quite literally nothing to do with the X-Books, I’ll just post this and then we’ll pretend as if nothing happened. Frankly, I would have preferred if they did a bonus team-up story like they used to a couple of years back.
And now for Wolverine.
2 weeks ago, Logan realized during his vacation with Kurt that his broken right claws were not regenerating because his healing factor was suddenly not working. Teleporting to NYC, Logan met up with Cecilia Reyes to get insight on what has happened to him. Cecilia reveals to Logan that his healing factor was not actually gone, but had instead been slowed down to the one of the average human due to nanites that had been injected into his blood interfering with it. Realizing that it was Department H who had done it when he was protecting the New Morlocks against them, Logan calls up Puck, who tips him off that Dept. H have been looking for one of their former scientists who was on the run for stealing a bunch of nanites. But before Logan could go after the scientist, Taskmaster - now seemingly stronger than ever before - shows up, having been hired to take out Logan. Meanwhile, Cecilia tries to contact Logan that the nanites in Logan’s blood did not just tamper with his healing factor - they were stealing it! But her message ends up reaching him just as he realizes that Taskmaster has his healing factor…
Nope, those claws are not worth using now.
