for me, its Daredevil. I got definitive editions 1-6 (up to issue 129 + a few crossovers), Born Again and Man Without Fear. Still waiting for Miller's run to get reprinted here. And also a small Bullseye figure in there.

I ordered a paperback copy of The Greatest Superman Stories Ever Told on Amazon and the seller shipped me Batman by mistake. I sent them a message explaining the mistake and asking if they had Superman in stock. They never responded and marked the inquiry as 'solved'.

On a related note; what are some good 'sampler' books that provide a collection of good but not necessarily related stories to showcase a character? I already owned The Greatest Batman Stories Ever Told (as well as the similar Batman: The Greatest Stories Ever Told) TPB and I quite liked how it approached the idea. Did Marvel ever do anything like that? I wouldn't mind a 'best of Spidey/Daredevil/X-Men' kind of sampler given how much history and what a wide range of tones/stories those characters have.

(also the Upcoming Omnibus/Hardcovers link in the OP seems to be outdated. Most recent activity is from 2023)

That's a shame.
Folio Society has a few for various heroes but I don't know how good the actual story selections are. I know DC did a couple of "[CHARACTER]: The Greatest Stories Ever Told" TPBs as well. I think I remember Marvel doing something similar when some movies released (Maybe Thor or something? Might have been a bonus in the DVD that had his first issue, some 70s stuff and some modern stuff?).

I have the three Sandman omnibuses. Does that cover all of the Sandman story content? Or do any of the absolute editions have exclusive chapters? There's 7 of those things and they aren't always clear on what includes what.

I bought a used copy of Metabarons and it smells kindof bad. Scumbag ebay seller didn't say anything about it, I messaged them, then they acknowledged me but pretended like it was never part of the book. What's your preferred method to get rid of smells in books?
