Baptizing Blitzo so his flesh melts off his bones and you get a cartoony imp skeleton.
There is nothing that suggests that Stella has no investment or even love her daughter. The first time we ever see her in the show, Octavia calls for both her mother and her father. While she pushes Stolas to take care of her, it's after he asks her to suggesting he's used to her being the one to take care of it. At worst she's negligent about Octavias feelings for the divorce but we learn that Octavia comes to terms with it herself without any outside manipulation. We know Stella has a huge hate boner for Stolas but we also know that Stella does not want Stolas turning her Octavia against them. She puts up a facade of a loving relationship for at the very least Octavias' sake for years until Blitzo enters the scene. She's shown to not care about the pedigree or wealth willing to throw it all away with a reaction that shows that she KNOWS Octavia would end up cleaning house.Does this mean Stella isn't a huge crazy cunt kung fu bird bitch? Absolutely not. But Stella haters are still mischaracterizing her and are fucking delusional.
