Like I assumed that was going to be the endpoint with Pomni discovering the Truth, actually being able to come to terms with it after her interactions with Gummigoo and recognizing that being an aritificial construct is okay. She'd then save everyone from abstraction and become the new leader of the circus giving everyone a paradise to live in. Like this is some basic ass writing and it's astonishing that Goose threw out what was basically a simple clean efficient ending for something as gay as a character analysis of their author standin.
