Has anyone ever read this series before? I just picked it up after vaguely remembering reading the first book a couple years ago. I really enjoyed it and i haven’t been able to find anything like it, nor have I ever seen anyone mention it or met anyone who’s read it. It’s definitely geared towards a younger audience, but i still thought it was really good and very unique .

>>154607060What's the premise?
>>154609636I only read the first two and halway through the Forks, my quick notes:Rob Davis: The Motherless Oven, The Can Opener's Daughter and The Book of Forks - everyone has a known death day, Vera Pike acts to disrupt this.Dark fantasy, cruel world, children make their parents who are appliances/machines but still people, coming of age, escaping boundaries. Bare minimum of romance/tension between Scarper Lee and Vera Pike.

>>154609636Abstract Fantasy Novel Trilogy about the rebellious Daughter of a God known as the Weather Clock that rains Knives upon the world. If you like David Lynch movies, you'll love this. It's very creative, but too abstract for normies.

>>154607060I liked the first two books but thought it lost steam by the end, I thought it spent too much time explaining everything about the setting and not enough on anything else
>>154607060Some anon was kind enough to storytime the second one so I went back and read the first and then last ones, I thought it was cool.
