What would happen if Tom & Leopold meet eachother?

Previous Thread- https://desuarchive.org/co/thread/154510677NPDF note- Bite the bullet & made the thread. Didn't add any links like kenny-anon said he would. Supposed to be on break but I enjoy these soviet threads too much to watch from the sidelines. Also wanted to discuss future of these threads when possible. >>154608126Hope they would :)
>>154608090Are you russians or somehow you found and watched soviet cartoons?
>>154608090I want to fuck those cats.
One would be concerned with the other's lack of pants
One thing I have always liked about slavic animation is that it is somehow distinctly different stylistically from western and asian animation for some reason. You can make the argument that """european""" animation is stylistically different from american animation too, but euro animation is very similar to british animation, which in turn is very similar to american and vice versa. But despite thess subtle degrees of seperation you can look at that whole block and recognise an underpinning cultural style that is sharply different from eastern slavic nations who likewise share an underpinning style. Even modern slavic autists today who have acess to multimedia from around the world have some unconcious cultural style, like that webcomic doll schizo guy that used to have threads here.

What's going to be the next one to be memed in the west?
>>154609622>like that webcomic doll schizo guy that used to have threads here.Voihon. And yeah stereotypes will always draw in a style that shows off their country. Only true intellectuals have their own style.Japan's style absolutely copied from France's style. France has this weird bipolar style mix of beautiful and parodic, like comparing X-Men's style to Ren & Stimpy style depsite both being American. Here is a Japanese video game clearly copying slavic Matryoshka doll style. Some might argue you can find this style in old folktale drawings from Britain and America too. Definitely folk British, I don't think America is that old enough to have their own folk style that isn't just British folk.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-QGURZTBJA&list=PLq7Wze90TsOpJpp3ZnO4cHRI-cSuvsyxL
>>154609547>One would be concerned with the other's lack of pantsmeh. Every character with featureless crotch can walk around naked according to the law of cartoons. No indecent exposure, if there is nothing there

>>154608090>>154608191Ah sweet, new thread! Not gonna lie, I got sidetracked when I got home and just plain forgot. Apologies.https://rentry.org/eesgThis is the OP I was going to use, but honestly, maybe it's better to keep things simple. That said, while throwing together this OP, I found out about a Latvian stop motion studio that's still in operation today.https://animacijasbrigade.jimdofree.com/Really cool shit.
>>154608453My roots originate from the other side of the globe. Learned about soviet animation about a year ago. Wished I knew sooner, least I get to enjoy today.>>154609622Same, think its why im so drawn to easterneurope animation. Its so unique & beautiful. Closes think ive encounterd thats similar is Chinesse animation from the 20th century. Not that familar with said animation but really like to learn more. Will share when I get the chance.>>154611585No worries, it happens. Really like op you made, bummer it couldn't be used. Maybe next time, perhaps we could take turns in creating these threads. Maybe like that some coule be focused more on simple disscussion while others can focus on drawfag shit :)Other anons could join in aswell. If thats the case it'd be best to express such interest to let us know. also more leopold, do the mice have names? Have only seen 2 eps & original paper-stopmotion animation.
