What happened to these type of shows?

They got replaced by family guy clones

Ironically these would at the very least be interesting to see how the zoomers and gen-alphas react to them to see if they think "My group of friends don't talk like this in school."

Never watched 3-South.

Young adults don't live like the characters in those shows anymore, it would be completely unrelatable to them.

Yet they keep attempting to reproduce it. Curious.

The MTV generation grew up and are in their 40's

Yeah, gen x are the new boomers.

Personally I think misson hill is bland and that undergrads and downtown were ok, but man, 3-south is pure comedic gold. Comedy writers would learn a thing or 2 from it.

Would be great if the Undergrads guy finally accepted that. At least do like the MTV Downtown creator and try out other ventures. Instead of clinging onto a short-lived series of his, Prynoski has since found success with his own studio. He lives a relatively comfortable life and still receives praise from people who go back and discover his older, underrated works
