I personally think TADC's bad fandom is used as an excuse to sweep against valid criticisms from the cast and sycophantic social media losers by lumping it with the "bad fandom". I think it's especially employed alongside the revisionist history of TADC not constantly theory and lorebaiting in the show, but also through the staff's social media profiles and official advertisement, and that it was actually this character focused small cast examination piece as if that will somehow turn TADC from millennial cartoon therapy reminiscent of a slightly more "mature" PBS show to The Technicolor Hateful Eight. The discourse about the show is so weird post-finale because it feels so bitterly black and white, as if people can't like something that missed the mark or that's mediocre. TADC was an okay show that promised too much in too short a time and with not enough people at the helm.
